Earlier this month, to commemorate the International Day of Sign Language, we welcomed young adults with hearing and speech impairments, to the Capital’s Palace for a day of learning, interaction and discovery.

Together with our colleagues, they explored different areas of the hotel, understood our operations and experienced the many roles that shape hospitality every day.

Guided by Paathya, the day was a small but meaningful step towards creating greater employment opportunities and a workplace where different abilities are recognised, supported and given the space to thrive.

Because true inclusion is not only about being seen and understood. It is about being given the opportunity to belong, contribute and grow!
