വയറു വേദന കൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ വലഞ്ഞത് നീണ്ട 20 വർഷങ്ങളാണ്

നാട്ടിലെ ചെറിയ ആശുപത്രി മുതൽ ആസ്റ്ററിലും അപ്പോളോയിലുമെല്ലാം ഞാൻ ചികിത്സകൾ നടത്തി. കൊളോണോസ്‌കോപ്പിയും എൻഡോസ്‌കോപ്പിയുമെല്ലാം പല പ്രാവശ്യമെടുത്തു. എല്ലാ ഡോക്ടർമാരും എനിക്ക് ഗുളികകൾ തന്നു. ഒരാൾ പോലും ഭക്ഷണ ക്രമീകരണം പറഞ്ഞില്ല. പകരം രോഗം മാറില്ല എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.

നീണ്ട ചികിത്സകൾക്കൊടുവിൽ ഒരു ഭക്ഷണവും കഴിക്കാൻ വയ്യാത്ത അവസ്ഥയിൽ ഞാൻ അവശനായി എന്ത് കഴിച്ചാലും ഉടൻ ടോയ്‌ലെറ്റിൽ പോകണം. വല്ലാതെ കഷ്ടപ്പെടുമ്പോഴാണ് മറ്റൊരു സംഗീത സംവിധായകനായ ബേണി ഡോ. ജേക്കബ് വടക്കൻചേരിയെക്കുറിച്ച് എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞത്.

നേച്ചർ ലൈഫിലെത്തി രണ്ടാഴ്ചകൊണ്ട് എനിക്ക് ആശ്വാസമായി. ഇപ്പോൾ അഞ്ചു വർഷമായി ഞാൻ ഒരു രോഗവും ഇല്ലാതെ സുഖമായി ജീവിക്കുകയാണ്.
