Every year right after the Christmas baking is done, we soak the fruits for the next year. This way they get ample time to soak up all that alcohol and get ready for Christmas! Over the last few weeks, we have been busy transforming this beauty into something even more spectacular for you guys. Every year right after the Christmas baking is done, we soak the fruits for the next year. This way they get ample time to soak up all that alcohol and get ready for Christmas! This meal was a delicious medley of the oriental flavours with smoked chicken. That ginger and soy glaze with the perfect amount of smokiness was really delicious. Rice was cooked well and the heat from chilli and garlic sauce complimented it perfectly. I only wished that they provided more of that yummy soy glaze for the chicken.

I came across .kochi from stories and I am so glad I did. I was so intrigued by the DIY brisket sandwich that I had to try it out! The brisket was everything it was supposed to be, juicy, smoky and so flavourful. The garlic aioli and pickled beets perfectly complimented the brisket. The hasselback potatoes was the kid’s favourite!

Smoked pork shoulder from .kochi is the proof that you don’t need a long list of ingredients to get a flavourful dish. While the dish may look raw to some, this right here is a flavour bomb! The cook and the smokiness of the pork was on point, the tangy pickled carrot atchara was yum and the sweet potato was baked to perfection.
