Indian Pharma Market (IPM) - March 2017 Highlights
IPM posted a growth of 9.6% in March 2017 compared to 8% in Mar 2016 and Feb 2017 at 7.1%.
Major segments like Cardiac, Anti-diabetic and Derma have grown by double digits and Anti Infective segment has not de-grown for the month.
In the Top 10 ranks, Zydus has the highest growth at 12.1% followed by Alkem at 11.2% and Sun Pharma at 11.1%
28 companies have crossed the growth of IPM in Mar 2017 in the top 50
In the top 50 ranks, USV has the highest growth of 30.6% followed by Bharat Serum at 29.3% and Himalaya at 28.1%
27 companies showed more than 10% growth in the top 50
In the Top 11-20 ranks, USV has the highest growth at 30.6% followed by Micro 24% & Emcure at 16.5%
In the Top 21-30 ranks, Himalaya showed the highest growth at 28.1% followed by Eris at 17.6% & Ipca at 13.1%
In the Top 31-40 ranks, Bharat Serums led at 29.3% followed by Astra Zeneca at 24.2% & Indoco at 18.7%
In the Top 41-50 ranks, Boehringer Ingelheim grew at 22.6% followed by Systopic at 19.8% and Fourtts at 19.1%
In the Top 51-60 ranks, Centaur led at 23.6% followed by Troika at 11.4% Eli Lilly at 10.5 %
In the Top 61-70 ranks, Corona grew at 32.3% followed by Danone at 28.2% and Pharmed at 23%
In the Top 71-80 ranks, Samarth grew by 41.9% followed by Modi Mundi at 15.9% & Shreya grew at 11.3%
In the Top 81 -90 ranks, Koye grew at 28% followed by Med Manor at 20.3% and Dabur with a growth of 14.5%
In the Top 91 -100 ranks, Gland grew at 42 % followed by Curatio growing at 30.4% while Ind Swift grew at 20.9%
In the Top 101 -150 ranks, fastest growing are BMS, Piramal HC Reliance LS, Indian Immunologicals, United Biotech, Unison, KLM Pharma, Vanguard, Icon, UTH, Comed, amongst others
In the Top 151 – 200 ranks, fastest growing areTorque Pharma, Seagull Lab, Innovcare, Bennet, Goddres Pharma, Srinivas Gujarat , Tasmed, Bharat Bitech amongst others
Abbott HC grew at 2.4 % whereas Abbott India grew at 11.1%
