THE STORY BEHIND THE IMPERIAL SWEET HOUSE 🤍
Some businesses are built.
Some become legacies.
The story of The Imperial Sweet House began with my great-great-mother-in-law, Late Smt. Nafees Hussaini, and her husband, Late Syed Mohammed Hussaini.
Their son, Syed Ali Abbas Hussaini, my father-in-law, stood beside his mother in the journey, alongside my mother-in-law, Smt. Nasreen Hussaini, who helped carry the tradition forward. Together, they preserved the craft while introducing new boxes, presentations and innovative ways of marketing our traditional sweets.
When I married into this family, I was told that I would be the bahu who would carry this legacy forward.
My mother-in-law became my teacher and taught me this business from the ground up.
I had been a B.Tech graduate and software engineer, but I chose to leave that career and dedicate myself completely to The Imperial Sweet House.
I gave my whole heart and soul to learning, preserving and growing what generations before me had built. Along the way, I brought my own vision through new designs, presentations, creative packaging, innovations and modern marketing—while always protecting the soul of our heritage.
Today, I proudly continue this journey as the Fourth Generation, alongside my husband, Syed Ali Uddin Hussaini.
My brother-in-law Saif Hussaini has also supported our journey in recent years by promoting our traditional sweets through his platform and helping us reach a newer audience.
For me, The Imperial Sweet House is not just a business.
It is the trust my elders placed in me.
It is their knowledge, their sacrifices and their love.
It is a responsibility I carry with pride.
I am not here to replace what came before me.
I am here to honour it, evolve it and carry it forward.
