Gulab Jamun Modaks Recipe
Ingredients:
•⁠ ⁠1 pack TOPS Gulab Jamun Instant Mix
•⁠ ⁠4–5 tbsp milk or water
•⁠ ⁠1 tsp ghee
•⁠ ⁠Oil/ghee for frying
For the sugar syrup:
•⁠ ⁠1½ cups sugar
•⁠ ⁠1½ cups water
•⁠ ⁠½ tsp cardamom powder
•⁠ ⁠A pinch of saffron
Method:
1️⃣ Make a light sugar syrup with sugar, water, cardamom and saffron. Keep warm.
2️⃣ Mix TOPS Gulab Jamun Instant Mix with water to form a soft dough. Rest for 2–3 minutes.
3️⃣ Shape into modaks using a greased modak mould (or shape by hand).
4️⃣ Fry on low heat until evenly golden brown.
5️⃣ Transfer immediately to the warm sugar syrup and let them soak for 45–60 minutes.
Offer to Bappa with devotion, then enjoy this festive fusion with your loved ones.
