They had planned to stay for lunch.

But lunch became another drink, another slice, another story that needed telling. The plates moved around, the pizza disappeared one slice at a time, and somewhere along the way, nobody seemed particularly interested in checking the time.

Mr. Wadhwa takes us through the inspiration behind Fio’s landscape and the idea of creating a space where nature is as much a part of the setting as the food, the people and the table.

An idea that goes back to his own early years, when he studied botany and developed an appreciation for the way plants shape a space, its character and the way we experience it.
