Novelty Tea House Started as a tea stall in Sowcarpet, Novelty Tea House has transformed to an eatery in the past 40 years and has branches in 4 prime locations of Chennai.

Started by Late Chandrakant Moolchand Shah, Novelty Tea house-Sowcarpet, was an idea of a tea stall back on 16th May, 1958. Since then this tea stall has gradually grown into a landmark of Sowcarpet as a quality restaurant with over 250 items for a foodie to choose. e third generation moving into business, and growing customer base, Novelty has opened another branch on 7th December, 2011 at Puruswalkam. While this is a family run restaurant, facilities are provided to all customers as a professionally run restaurant. Novelty has always followed the policy of quality food and friendly service for a memorable time and a filled appetite. As our food is reaching different sectors, we are on a continuous lookout to take this mantle forward for a chain of restaurants to meet more and more foodies and make every meal a memorable one.
