Health, as we consider is an important aspect of life. To bring back harmony and health back to the community, Sekar Mahendra Varman, proprietor of SwarnaSudharshan Convention Hall came with the idea of opening a Yoga Hall in Kovilambakkam, Nanmangalam Area.

Swarna Sudarshan Yogalaya(SSY) as it is fondly named has inaugurated by P.B.Ramanujam on March 11th, 2017. Around 250 people in and around Kovilambakkam were there to witness the inauguration. Mrs.Varalakshmi Varman gave a warm welcome speech for the audience. VishnuSahasaranamam pooja was performed in a grand manner.

Mr.Mahendravarman spoke the importance of doing Yoga. The audience perceived his speech well.

A Yoga demonstration session was organized by Guru Yogamaharathinam Manikandan and Yogasironmani Kirubananda Devi. The highlight of the event was the various postures done by an 80-year old Yoga Sironmani BG Rangaswamy. The audience were mesmerized.

Mubeen Irshad and AnbuMalar Selvi of Story Carpet were the Master of Ceremony of the event. It was exciting to see people consciously moving towards health awareness. The Yogalaya has been a boon to the community of Kovilambakkam area. If people can come and utilize the opportunity, they can live by the saying, "An hour of Yoga every day keeps the doctor away".

Our Yogalaya has flexible timings in the morning and evening. We have trainers of 8 to 10 years experience. We have a female trainer exclusively for women. We charge nominal rates for the session.
