Recipe of the week: Konkani style Rohu fish fry!!
Ingredients:
1. Rohu Fish: 1 ½ kg
2. Chili powder: 3 teaspoon
3. Turmeric powder: 1 pinch
4. Asafoetida: ¼ teaspoon
5. Bengal gram flour: 2 tablespoon
6. Salt to taste
7. Rice flour ¼ cup (to coat the fish)
Preparation:
1. Marinate the fish with salt and keep in aside for 20 minutes
2. Now make a paste with chili powder, turmeric powder, Bengal gram flour and asafoetida
3. Apply this paste into the fish and marinate again for an hour
4. Heat oil and dip the marinated fish in Rice flour and deep fry.
5. Cook until it becomes crisp and cooked!!
