In every college, there is always a place, normally an eatery, where students go for a break and have a great time with friends. I’ve graduated from IIT BHU Varanasi, and in my college too, there is a place named “Limbdi Corner” which was the favourite hangout place for the entire college. They serve amazing food, have a great culture, and is one of the most remembered place after people graduate
from IIT-BHU. After graduation, I moved to Hyderabad and later to Bangalore, but I never came close to a place that used to serve food having that taste and bring that much interaction among its customers. We believe in bringing people together, bringing more cohesion among people from different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs, giving them a sense of belonging to the place. One of the ways in which we feel we can do this is by directly serving their appetite. For us, serving food is not just about maintaining quality, it is also about bringing people together, establishing a personal connect, cherishing old memories, creating new friendships, and building a strong community. Our startup, LC, attempts to achieve the same feeling of cohesion and a feeling of connection by providing good quality North Indian snacks for people in Bangalore, and making them feel at home. We aim to provide our customers a feeling of belonging just the way they have in their alma mater. We named our start-up “Limbdi Corner” (LC), as a remembrance of our lives at college. We have also called people from “actual LC” in IIT-BHU to help us by being a part of this venture. The eatery aims to establish a community of food lovers with a culture of liveliness and fun around it. The feeling of connecting with the people, and connecting them together will be the purpose of the cafe.
