A watch themed cake for someone who loves to collect them.

Just a little fondant on top of an edible prinr, to bring the watch face to life.

However, not all cakes end up how you want them to....this one cracked at the last min. Thankfully some clients are truly forgiving and alls well that ends well... got a lovely review and made it all worthwhile.

This cake was a joy to make and absolutely no AI cos my 7 yr old client knew exactly what she wanted.

Be it the color of the cake, the design elements, everything was finalized and reconfirmed... i was even given a drawing, in case i failed to understand her brief 😀

And i was told i nailed... could i ask for more? 😀

Last one, for now, on the AI specials 😃

A dual celebration cake, a gift from their children and grandchildren....

Here, I used AI to help me with color combinations based on the decor planned, ideas to.combine to 2 occasions (a 75th birthday and 50th year anniversary), image for the cake topper which could be cut in acrylic, images for the people toppers (once again, the grandmom's face just wasn't satisfactory) and so much more....

As a non-designer, AI has helped make things a lot simpler for me...

The fondant miniatures and the cake (obviously) were made by me 😉. So, no,my job isn't redundant (yet??? ☺️)

Next one in my AI series 😀

This one was a little stressful...cos this one was for someone who owns their own creative agency.

And if it's not evident yet, I'm no designer, and hence, my extensive use of AI

Here, AI helped me with ideas on how to put together a bunch of unrelated things. I must have tried a dozen combination of shapes, colors, alignment, etc. to make sure the cake looked classy yet fun.

And I think I did well, what do you think?
If I had to change anything, probably the base color of the cake... Black, maybe???

Here's another cake that I doubt I could've pulled off without the help of AI.

Looks simple, right? An edible print of a pair of Crocs ... Not really.

This cake was ordered by a special someone to celebrate their influencer friends who had just collaborated with ...

The color of the Crocs had to match what they wore in their reel. The jibbitz had to match too, along with a few other things they like 🙂.

It took me so many iterations and a combination of many AI platforms to get it right...

But most of all, it was the thought behind the cake that won my heart. So it was totally worth it.

The use of AI in this cake is obvious "Cartoonify" or the trend that became viral in between - AI generated Ghibli art.

The cake was made for a very dear friend and we had a good laugh seeing all the versions different AI Apps gave us. The funny part was, in most cases, the male face was pretty close to the actual person, but the female cartoonifiction was not really the best 🤷‍♀️

Guess it's not easy the capture the beauty of women 😍

The next few posts show a glimpse into the power of AI in cake design. Thankfully, it has replaced the art of cake making but hasn't definitely enhanced creativity.... from generating customer specific images, names in specific fonts, as well as ideas, too...

In this cake, it was as simple as generating the name and number in a font and color of my choice (from a reference image) in a matter of seconds.
