This little beauty arrived in the mail yesterday- Another awesome accolade for The Selkie! Last month, we won the Blue Ribbon at .ireland awards. So fantastic to be acknowledged for great food at affordable prices - something we pride ourselves on providing consistently.
As usual, big love to everyone for all the support. Awards are possible because of you lot!

Some people are just built for hospitality — and Lorraine is one of them.
We could not be prouder to see her win Best Manager in Connaught at the Irish Restaurant Awards. 🏆
Anyone who knows Lorraine knows the amount of work, care, patience, leadership and heart she puts into The Selkie every single day. From looking after our team to making sure every guest feels welcome, she gives this place everything she has and this award is so deserved.

Lorraine, thank you for all the early mornings, late nights, problem solving, calm heads, hard work and passion. We are incredibly lucky to have you.

Please note, The Selkie is closed tomorrow - Monday 18th of May while some of the staff attend the nationals of the Irish Restaurant Awards in Dublin. Always a great night and we are very much looking forward to it!
