What a week!
My two nephews, Conor & Fionn came all the way from Kildare for a week of work experience, and I hope they leave with memories they'll never forget.
Over the week they learned what it's really like to work in a family business – serving customers, clearing tables, making coffees, delivering food, washup and seeing first-hand what great customer service is all about.
They also had the incredible opportunity to help serve food to the Spanish Ambassador during the visit of the ⚓El Galeon Andalucía ⚓ before swapping aprons for waders and spending a day on our oyster farm with Glenn, learning where our oysters begin their journey.
From café life to oyster farming, every day was different. There really is nothing beats hands-on experience when it comes to learning.
We're so proud of how they got stuck in, asked questions, worked hard, and represented themselves so well. Wishing them both every success in whatever path they choose next. 💙
