Last week on the Links. ⛳️

Another week of club golf at Narin & Portnoo, with the Wednesday Open followed by Saturday’s Stableford.

A quieter week on the competition side, but still plenty of good golf played and another few days of autumn conditions settling across the course.

Congratulations to everyone who featured in the results, and thanks as always to all who took part.

A lovely group to welcome to Narin & Portnoo yesterday. ⛳️

It was a pleasure to have the ladies Adare Manor Golf Club with us for a round on the Links, with some September sunshine making the day all the better.

We hope you enjoyed your time in Donegal and the chance to experience Narin & Portnoo in such good conditions.

The last few steps off the Links tonight, and then the sky changed. ⛳️

A rainbow settling over the course as the day drew to a close, the dunes quietening and the final golfers making their way in.

Just one of those moments that could only really belong to Narin & Portnoo.

The first semi-final of the McCafferty’s & Nesbitt Arms Championship was played today, and it certainly delivered. ⛳️

Finn McCrory & Paul Maxwell took on Ciaran Thompson & AJ Gallagher in an epic match that went all the way to the 24th hole before Ciaran and AJ finally secured their place in the final.

A proper battle from start to finish, and exactly the kind of match you want at this stage of the championship.

Just one semi-final remains, with Fiona Isherwood & Frankie Kennedy still to face Gerard McCabe & Jimmy O’Connell.

Another week of competition at Narin & Portnoo, with plenty of good golf played across our Wednesday Open, Saturday Stableford and Sunday’s Costal Windows Stroke.

Congratulations to Shaun Gallagher, Geoffery Wallace and Michael Campbell on taking the top spots, and well played to everyone who joined us on the Links throughout the week.

Set just above the strand, with the Atlantic stretching out beyond it, this is one of those corners of the Links where the setting does as much of the talking as the golf.

Late light across the dunes, the beach below and the green sitting right on the edge of it all.

A few weeks on, and still one worth looking back on. ⛳️

The Irish Golfer Donegal Series began here at Narin & Portnoo, bringing players from near and far to the Links for the opening day of the series.

A full day of golf through the dunes, along the coast and across a course that never quite gives you the same test twice.

It was a pleasure to welcome Irish Golfer and everyone who joined us for the day.

The next couple of weeks at The Links. ⛳️

Whether you’re coming off the course, meeting friends for lunch or settling in for dinner and a drink, we’d love to welcome you to the Clubhouse.

Our restaurant opening hours from 16th to 27th September are above, with plenty of opportunity to call in and enjoy something good from the kitchen.

A hole in one on the 15th. ⛳️

Peter Acosta, visiting from Puerto Rico, found the bottom of the cup in one on the 15th, with the Atlantic behind him and the elements adding a little extra drama to the occasion.

Peter was part of a group brought to Narin & Portnoo by PGA Professional Brian Shaver, and it’s fair to say the Links gave them a story to take home.

Congratulations, Peter. A fine place to add a hole in one to the trip.
