Sadly we have come to the very very difficult decision that it is simply not viable for us to stay open anymore. The increase in the costs of doing business has had a huge effect on most restaurants but it’s been particularly difficult for JP’s Steak House with beef prices having gone up by 96% in the past 3 years. vegetables up by 50%, insurance up 30%. This week's deliveries announced further big increases in prices which means it’s just not viable for us to continue to stay open.

We have had a wonderful time serving you over the years and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for celebrating many of your special occasions with us. Thanks for your support and your understanding at this difficult and sad time for all the management and staff at JP’s Steak House Mullingar. We hope you all have a wonderful festive time ahead, and thank you for all the wonderful memories we have of looking after you on your special occasions throughout the years. Hi Folks, as we are preparing for the Fleadh here is an updated Fleadh menu including some old favorites like our Jack Daniels chicken wings and deep fried Brie. Our Jack Daniels sauce is also available with a good range of reasonably priced prime Hereford cuts on the menu too. We're are going to be open every day from 3pm from Sunday for sit in and takeaway. As a proud sponsor of the Fleadh we're already so proud of all the work being done in town and it's going to be a fantastic occasion for all the vistors and locals alike!
