Homage to my late grandmother, capable of feeding an army with a few ingredients, she’s been my inspiration and motivation in many occasions. The French Table remember her with La Tourte Lucie. A warm porc and veal pie where every ingredients are carefully chosen to experience the perfect combination of a buttery short crust pastry and a delicate meaty texture. Simple yet tasty, elegant and truly delicious. Definitely a childhood memory that i couldn’t not share 💙🤍❤️

We are starting the hunting season tomorrow with a very comforting venison civet so our Spätzle are also back on the menu. Between a dumpling and pasta it is the perfect accompaniment to a winter warmer slow cooked venison. They will be pan fried until golden brown and puffed up. Something I’ve learned to cook with my Grandmother and that I’m very proud to share every year. 💙🤍❤️
