Brown Morel Restaurant The Brown Morel opened in August 2015 and have relocated in 2023 by the banks of the River Arra. A prime location right in the town centre of Newcastlewest.

They’re a cozy, two-storey casual-dining restaurant located in the heart of Newcastle West. A formal dining restaurant where the guest will enjoy their food in a relaxing ambiance and with an excellent customer service experience.

Introducing Our New Drop-Off Catering Menu!🍽️

Whether you’re hosting a family gathering, corporate event, birthday celebration, communion, confirmation, christening, funeral reception, or any special occasion, The Brown Morel Restaurant is delighted to offer our new drop-off catering service.

Our catering menu starts from €23.90 per person and features a selection of freshly prepared dishes, including:

• Roast Beef with Herbs Gravy
• Authentic Chicken Curry
• Chicken Stir-Fry
• Roast Leg of Lamb
• Turkey & Ham
• Beef Stew or Beef Stroganoff

All options are served with creamy mash, seasonal vegetables, cold pasta salad, potato salad, and dessert.

We prepare everything fresh and deliver it directly to your chosen venue, allowing you to enjoy your event without the stress of cooking.

Over the past few months, we were delighted to offer reduced prices across all our menus, and we truly appreciate the amazing support from everyone who came in and enjoyed it with us.

From today, the 1st of May, our menus will return to their original pricing. This decision hasn’t been taken lightly, but with continued increases in costs across the industry, it’s necessary for us to maintain the quality, portion sizes and standards we’re proud to serve every day.

What won’t change is what matters most; our homemade food, fresh ingredients and the care we put into every dish.
