These two kids would never have imagined what we would build.

And almost three years later, we still look at each other and say, “I can’t believe we did it!”

And we know perfectly well that we are here because of our customers. Because of you.

Our sweet table for Viggo’s birthday 🥳🍰

We had a separate savoury table (because one table is simply never enough 😅), but I thought I’d share the sweet one here to show you how we do birthday tables in our house🫶🏼♥️

The idea is simple: instead of one giant cake trying to please everyone, we put together a selection of different cakes and treats. That way, everyone gets to try a few flavours — and there’s always a favourite for every guest. 💛

For Viggo’s birthday we had:
✨ Mini alfajores
✨ Quince tart
✨ Apple crumble
✨ Lemon, berries & meringue cake
✨ Brownie with dulce de leche & meringue
✨ Croissants & cinnamon rolls
✨ Homemade cookies

Basically… something for everyone, and absolutely no fighting over the last slice. 😂

Three years ago, we became four! ❤️

Three years ago, Viggo was born in the middle of a wonderful chaos. A baby big brother just one year old, and we had just jumped into the uncertainty of renting a place in Kildalkey and building a café from scratch, following our dream.

Three months later, we opened our doors, and Viggo was there every morning, growing up alongside our dream and constantly reminding us of the importance of working hard and fighting for what we want.

Today, he is 3, and we honestly can’t believe how fast the time flies. But more than anything, we are so grateful that we get to witness him growing up. Watching the little person he is becoming is one of our greatest pleasures.

Happy birthday to our baby Viggo… forever our baby, of course! 🥹❤️
