We’re closing our doors for a short while.

For the past year, we’ve been quietly working away on plans for the next phase of Lignum, and the time has finally come to get started.

Over the coming weeks, the restaurant will undergo a significant transformation. While the heart of Lignum will remain the same, we’re excited to create a space that reflects where we are today and where we hope to go in the future.

Lignum has always evolved naturally, and this feels like the right time to invest in the space and shape the next chapter of the restaurant.

We’ll be sharing the journey along the way and look forward to welcoming you back when we reopen in mid-July.

* Previous experience in a similar role within a high-level kitchen
* Able to confidently run their own section independently
* Strong attention to detail and high standards
* Passionate, organised, and reliable

Previous experience in a high-level service role is important to us, but just as much, we value warmth, attention to detail, and a willingness to support the team around you.

LIGИUM SPRING / SUMMER 2026 STAGIAIRE PROGRAMME

Applications are now open for our 10-week stagiaire programme (approx. 2.5 months) at Lignum for chefs who want to deepen their understanding of seasonal, ingredient-led cooking.

The programme is designed to give a full picture of how we work with ingredients from the ground up.

-1 day per week in the garden learning from our Head Gardener and gaining insight into the produce that shapes our menus.
 -3 days per week in the kitchen working alongside the team and learning our approach to cooking with fire and seasonality.

We provide: • Accommodation • Team Meals • Use of a staff car (for those with a valid driving licence)

We’re incredibly proud to announce that we have retained our Michelin star ⭐️

Being awarded our star last year was a moment we’ll never forget, and holding onto it for the first time feels especially meaningful.

It’s been an exceptional year, and we’re deeply grateful to our team who give everything, to our growers and producers, and to for this continued recognition.

Celebrating this moment in Ireland for the very first time made it all the more special.
