With the cosy season back, it only feels right to bring back Snug Confessions.

And this feels like a pretty good one to start with. A first date and already thinking they might be the one. We’ll be needing an update on this one.

What a great evening yesterday as Renars Purmalis and Eamon Clark joined us out front for some oyster shucking.

We’ll be serving delicious Kelly Oysters all weekend, paired with Guinness or a Bloody Mary made with Ketel One Vodka.

Pop in, try some oysters and enjoy the Oyster Festival with us. Proceeds will be going to Galway Hospice.

The Oyster Festival kicks off today, and we’re delighted to welcome Latvian competitor Renars Purmalis to M. Fitzgerald’s, along with Canadian competitor Eamon Clark, who’s back with us again this year.

They’ll be out front shucking oysters from 6pm, so call down, watch them at work and enjoy fresh oysters with a Bloody Mary made with Ketel One Vodka.

Proceeds will be going to Galway Hospice, and we’d love to see you there.

One more sleep until the gets underway, and we’re looking forward to being part of it again this year.

Join us tomorrow from 6pm for oysters out front, with some of the international competitors stopping by for a shucking masterclass.

A combination you should be trying this week: Kelly’s Oysters and a freshly made Bloody Mary.
