Not every shop doubles as a history lesson, but Legend of the Claddagh Ring does exactly that!

Beyond the rings and merch, they've got an onsite jeweler crafting pieces in real time, plus a small walkthrough on the story behind the Claddagh Ring itself. Friendship, loyalty, love, all in one design with centuries of history behind it.

This week, we're shouting out a few small businesses around the city we think deserve more attention, and this was an easy one to include!

Some things really do stand the test of time. The Claddagh Ring is one. A good cup of coffee is another. Pop in for the history, pop into us for the coffee! ☕

This week, we’re giving a few shoutouts to small businesses around Galway & Taaffes made the list without a second thought!

Great food, great drinks, great live music, & the loveliest staff in the city! It’s the kind of place you go to for one pint & end up staying for three, in the best way. If you haven’t been in yet, here’s your sign!

Coffee in the morning, a pint of Guinness in the evening. Galway really does have it all & we’re just happy to be a part of it!🍺☕️

As part of our small business shoutout this week, we stopped by Chipeen! & if you know, you know...

Chips done right, & Galway's been showing up for them for a good reason! This isn't us discovering a hidden gem, this is us just saying it out loud: Chipeen deserves every bit of hype it gets.

Small business shoutouts aren't only about finding the places people haven't heard of yet. Sometimes it's about giving credit where it's very clearly due.

And who says coffee and chips don't go together? 😉

As part of our small business shoutout this week, we spent some time at The Galway Market!

The Galway Market runs Saturdays and Sundays all year round, and during July and August, it's open Wednesday through Sunday!

With the Arts Festival bringing even more energy into town this week, we wanted to give a proper shoutout to the vendors who make this market what it is every single week, festival or not. Huge thank you to Buttercups and Galway Bay Soap for chatting with us. Go say hi to them!

And since Roots is just next door, you know what to do. Grab your coffee, then go get lost in the market! ☕

This week, we're spotlighting four Galway spots that have always felt like part of our own community: Chipeen, Taaffes, Legend of the Claddagh Ring, and The Galway Market!

We know how much heart it takes to run a small business here, and we wanted to use our page to say thank you to a few that do it so well.

Support goes further when we actually show up for each other. So here we are. 🤍
New spotlight going up all week — keep an eye out!
