PAINTING THE TOWN RED & WHITE! 🔴⚪️

A massive good luck to St. Brides GFC as they step out in the Intermediate Football Championship Final this Sunday!
We’ve turned the front of The Rum House red and white today to show our support, especially for our own current and past staff members on the Brides panel.

We know how much hard work has gone into getting to this final, and the whole place is behind you.

Bring the cup home, lads! 🏆🙌

“Legends never die.” 🤍

For Dundalk, Barry Kehoe was an icon, one of the finest midfielders to ever grace the League of Ireland, and a true legend of Dundalk FC whose face now proudly lives on the new Centenary jersey and mural up at Oriel Park.

But for us at The Rum House, he was family. As the co-founder of Ridleys and husband to our own Adrienne, Barry’s spirit is woven into the very bricks of our place. It’s why football and The Rum House will always have that special connection.

Seeing his face on the jersey and up on the wall reminds us just how much he meant and will always mean to this town.

💙 We are so proud to have hosted the Dundalk
Lions Club Coffee Morning Fundraiser for Childhood Cancer Ireland once again at The Rum House.

Last year was amazing, but you blew us away this time-with over 320 people showing up, the community support was genuinely overwhelming.

Because of your incredible generosity, we helped raise an incredible amount for a truly vital cause.

A massive thank you to everyone who packed the house and donated, and a special shout-out to the Dundalk Lions Club for everything they do. Moments like these remind us why we love being part of Dundalk.

We are delighted to share that The Rum House has been shortlisted for Best Digital Presence at the Louth Business Awards! 🏆

We like to think Ross and Ricky’s Oscar-worthy performances finally caught the judges’ attention.

The award nomination has come at the perfect time, as we have a very special video coming soon that we cannot wait to share.

The Cuban Quarter is back in action, and our bartenders are serving up the ultimate summer sips. Honestly? You won’t want to be anywhere else.

Drop by and soak up the vibe over the next few days and nights ✨

LIVE MUSIC & BBQ PARTY 🎸🍻

We’re throwing a massive bank holiday session this coming Monday, August 3rd, and the tunes are taking center stage.
We’ve got the brilliant Mel and Michael kicking off live from 5 PM onwards to soundtrack your evening.

Whether you’re winding down a long weekend or keeping the party going, they’ll have the place jumping.

(And just as a little bonus to fuel the session: we’re firing up the BBQ with free food from 3 PM to 5 PM!)

Get on down, grab a pint, and let the music take over. See you Monday! 👇🎶

Forget about Louth vs Mayo, it’s the official throw-up contest between Ross and Ricky that the people want to see.

To the customers who had to bear witness to this being filmed yesterday, we are truly, deeply sorry. It was messy. It was chaotic. It was… a Rum House production.

Chaotic to the point we needed Pete from ZOMA to referee and had to photoshop in a football before we broke anything else…

12oz of Pure Perfection. 🥩🔥

There’s a reason this is a Rum House classic. 12 ounces of premium, succulent Sirloin, cooked exactly how you like it.

We top it off with our signature to***co onions for that perfect crunch and a classic grilled tomato to balance the plate. It’s simple, it’s world-class, and it’s waiting for you.

Hungry now? We thought so.

✨ A full decade ago, we opened our doors on Park Street with a simple goal, to bring world-class food and an unmatched atmosphere to the heart of Dundalk.

Today, we’re looking back on ten years of incredible memories, from first dates and family celebrations to late-nights in the Cuban Quarter. To our amazing staff (past and present) and our loyal customers who have made this journey possible, thank you.

The Best is Yet to Come...
We aren’t just looking back, we’re looking forward. We have some huge celebrations planned to mark our anniversary later this summer. We aren’t ready to share the details just yet, but trust us, you won’t want to miss what’s coming! 🤩
