The songs of Oasis take centre stage at Toales on Saturday 10th October, as Dublin tribute act Morning Glory arrive in Dundalk for a night of big choruses, familiar favourites and Manchester swagger.

The six-piece feature a Manchester-born frontman and two sets of brothers—a fitting line-up for anyone taking on the Gallagher catalogue. With guitars, bass, drums and keyboards, Morning Glory capture the sound and attitude behind some of British music’s most enduring anthems.

Their repertoire runs from Supersonic, Rock ’n’ Roll Star and Ci******es & Alcohol to favourites including Wonderwall, Live Forever and Ch*****ne Supernova. Committed fans are catered for too, with Fade Away, Listen Up and Talk Tonight among the songs they cover.

Whether you grew up with Definitely Maybe and (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? or discovered them later, this is a chance to sing the songs that have outlasted the haircuts, headlines and sibling arguments.

Morning Glory play Toales Live Venue, Dundalk, on Saturday 10th October. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets are €12, on sale now through Eventbrite.

Acclaimed local singer-songwriter Sophie Coyle returns to Toales on Thursday, October 1st, for another intimate evening of original music at the Fireside Sessions.

Coyle is a gifted storyteller whose distinctive folk collection combines hypnotic vocals, memorable melodies and beautifully observed lyrics. Her acclaimed debut album, Blame Me for the Storm, established her as one of the region’s most compelling songwriters, while its follow-up, Cuentista, broadened her sound with influences gathered during her travels through South America.

Joining her is Dundalk musician and songwriter Mark Corcoran, whose thoughtful country-folk songs are filled with warmth, wit and an obvious love of language. Across two albums, If I Speak False and Moonlight Is X-Raying the Earth, Corcoran has quietly built an impressive catalogue of finely crafted songs. Also on the bill are two exceptional singer/songwriters Laura Flynn & Jeff Gandel.

With two exceptional local writers sharing their music in the close quarters of Toales, this promises to be another special night at the Fireside Sessions.

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us at Toales this afternoon for the screening of Once We Were Punks, as part of the Louth International Film Festival.

It was brilliant to see Toales transformed into a little cinema for this fantastic story of music, friendship and memories. 🎥🎸

And while the film was rolling in the venue, two more music legends, Jackie McAuley & Rod Demick, keep the live music flowing in the front bar. 🎶🔥

A huge thanks to everyone involved in making today happen — and to everyone who came along in support.

Music, film and great people — that’s what Sundays at Toales are all about. ❤️
