The Bretzel Bakery is Dublin's favourite bakery since 1870. We bake the city's finest, freshest, award winning breads and pastries every day. We pride ourself on 150 years of tradition, experimentation, quality, passion, long fermentation knowledge, culture and community presence. The purpose of the Bretzel Bakery is to feed, nourish, delight and grow baking and Dublin culture as we deliver an outstanding product that leaves everyone wanting more. Bretzel Park Date! 🌳 Today we are joined by the lovely Beth (and a treat loving seagull) as she tried three of our café showstoppers:

🥐 Our Almond Croissant, which she described as “gorgeous”
🥪 Halloumi & Pepper Sandwich on White Sourdough, which she described as “so fab” 
🍰 And, of course, our Caramel Cheesecake — one she said she’d happily have for a birthday, wedding or christening!

She also gave lotts ;) of love to her favourite place to pick up our sourdough, !

Beth, thank you so much for giving our products a taste, we loved hearing what you thought! 🫶

This week we had to try the New York Reuben from on Pearse St., served on Bretzel focaccia. 🥪

The Reuben had everything you want; rich, smoky pastrami, sharp pickle, tangy sauerkraut and a hit of mustard, all coming together in that classic Reuben flavour.

Of course, we can’t forget our very own foccacia! Soft, chewy, packed with flavour and finished with that perfect hit of sea salt. 🫶

A seriously unreal sandwich. If you’re around Pearse St, make sure you get your hands on one!

Today we teamed up with Dave from to try two seriously unreal sandwiches, served on Bretzel’s signature white sourdough.

🌶️ Roasted Chipotle Chicken
🍯 Hot Honey Halloumi

Both were absolutely fantastic and packed with flavour. If you’re in the area, make sure to pop into ROOTS in Dun Laoghaire and give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!
