About & artist statement:

Day and Day
Asuka Sasaki Solo Exhibition
at Hen’s Teeth/Sando Paradiso, Dublin

“Day and Day is a picture diary I created during my time studying abroad in Ireland from autumn 2019 to summer 2020.

From the day I arrived, I drew each day — day 1, day 2, and so on — eventually creating a collection of more than 260 days.

Rather than explaining exactly what happened each day, this diary reflects the quiet repetition and continuity of everyday life.

Whatever happens, each day is simply a “day.” I hope these works invite you to reflect on your own days as well.”

28th: For all of you lovebirds thinking of tying the knot, we’re hosting a wee showcase for couples that want to 👀 the space & chat to the team. Complimentary sups & bites on the day. Free tickets at the link 👆

Fri 8th: We’re celebrating the kickoff of Giro D’Italia with a live screening & Italo disco out back with & pals. Tickets in the bio & includes a free spritz on arrival. Kindly supported by 🇮🇹 🚴‍♀️

Thurs 14th: Art Auction with the good people at . Read all about the good work they do and the artworks available to buy on the night over on their page ♥️

Thurs 21st: Monthly chess & tunes night with . Open to players of all levels. Ticket link in our bio ♟️

Sat 30th: By day we’ve got a swap shop for the girls out back in the HIFI. 10am to 3.30pm.

Sat 30th: By night we’re welcoming the crew back for another night of art house cinema & drinks. Programme & ticket links will be live soon 🍿

The rest of our May dates are pretty much full with weddings & private parties, but we’ve got some Weds & daytimes free if you want to chat to us 🤝
