It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our owner, Seán Ryan. Ryan’s Bar Store St, formerly Robert Reade, was a place Seán poured his heart into. He was incredibly proud of Ryan’s and of the people who have made it what it is.
Thank you to staff, customers, and suppliers for all your kindness, support, and lovely messages during this difficult time. May he rest in peace. 🙏🏻

A little piece of Tipperary lives inside Ryan’s,

Proudly displayed on our walls are memories of Tipperary’s All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship victories in 2016 and 2025.

For Sean, they’re more than photographs, they’re a reminder of home!

Up Tipp! 💙💛

🥃 Ever heard of Cenosillicaphobia?

The fear of an empty pint glass!

A serious condition affecting good people across Ireland daily 😅🍺

Fortunately, we’ve been providing treatment since 1998 😎

No appointment necessary, pop in and judge it yourself!

🇮🇪 Ryan’s Bar 🤝🏻 Germany 🇩🇪

Turns out our T-shirts travel almost as well as our customers!

One of our customers spotted a Ryan’s Bar T-shirt hanging in a pub over 1,300km away from home.

It’s about people, friendships and stories that travel far beyond our walls.

Cheers, friends! 🍻
