Every so often, someone reminds us why The Merchant's Arch is more than just a bar. 💚

Marc Thompson and his wife have visited us on both of their trips from the US to Ireland, and after one of their visits, Marc wrote a full song about his time here in Dublin and sent it on to us.

We were honestly blown away. His lyrics, his story, his love for the place, it means so much to our team.

Great food is a big part of any Christmas celebration, which is why our Christmas menus can be tailored around your group, your style of event and your budget.

Our private upstairs venue offers 2,000 sq ft of event space in the heart of Dublin, accommodating up to 150 guests seated or 190 for a cocktail-style celebration. The space includes its own fully serviced bar, private bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen.
Choose from finger food and canapés for a relaxed celebration, or bring everyone together for a two or three course sit-down meal.

Plenty waiting for you inside too. If you're planning something small, our mezzanine is a lovely semi private spot for up to 40, right in the middle of the buzz of the main bar, perfect for a relaxed Christmas lunch with the team.

If you're after something bigger and fully private, our upstairs restaurant seats up to 150, with its own bar, kitchen and space to really make the night your own.
