Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Nan Chinese.

As of today, we are officially closing our doors for renovation. Looking back, we are filled with gratitude for every moment we’ve shared with you. Over the years, Nan Chinese has been part of so many special occasions — countless celebrations, meaningful gatherings, and unforgettable milestones. Thank you for choosing us to be a part of your memories.

It’s been a journey full of warmth, connection, and stories we will always treasure.

And this is not a goodbye — just a transformation.

Soon, we will return as Little Canton, a brand-new Cantonese Cha Chaan Teng. Alongside our signature Cantonese roast meats, we’ll be serving classic Cantonese dim sum, comforting noodles, and other Cantonese favorites — all crafted with the same care and passion you’ve come to know.

We can’t wait to welcome you again, in a new space, with the same warmth.

See you soon ❤️

We’d like to share a little update with you.

Nan Chinese will be serving until Sunday, March 22, before we take a short break and say goodbye for now. Some changes are on the way, and we look forward to sharing more with you in the future.

We are incredibly grateful for all the support you’ve given Nan Chinese over the years. It has meant so much to us to welcome you, cook for you, and be part of so many moments and memories.

Before we close our doors for now, we would love to see you again.
Come by, enjoy a meal with us, and let us welcome you one more time.

Thank you for being part of our journey. ❤️

Happy Lunar New Year from Nan Chinese 🧧✨

Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is a time for reunion, gratitude, and sharing meaningful meals with the people we love. For thousands of years, families have gathered around the table to welcome a fresh start and new blessings.

This year, we celebrate the Year of the Horse — a symbol of strength, freedom, and moving forward with confidence.

May the year ahead bring you energy, success, and happiness in every step.

Thank you for being part of the Nan Chinese family. We look forward to welcoming you for many more joyful meals together.

新年快乐 · Happy Chinese New Year!

Last night around 3–4 AM, Nan Chinese experienced a violent break-in. Our front glass door was shattered and the interior was left in chaos. With the holiday season approaching, we want to remind everyone to stay extra vigilant, especially in Dublin city centre.

We always believed that being in Dublin 2 meant a safer area, but this incident showed otherwise. We’re deeply grateful to the Irish Gardaí for arriving quickly and assisting with the investigation.

We’re already working hard to clean up, restore the space, and come back stronger — ready to welcome you all again with a refreshed spirit.

Stay safe, everyone. ❤️‍🩹

That moment when your chopsticks lift a Xiao Long Bao and the soup is still shimmering inside… 🤍
First created in Jiangnan over a century ago, this iconic soup dumpling is all about balance: thin skin, savoury broth and tender filling.
Tip: bite, sip, then enjoy — that’s the only right way.
Served fresh at Nan Chinese. You’re invited.
