We're delighted to welcome Storylines 2026 to The Copper Apple, overlooking the peaceful waters of Lough Allen.

Sunday 9th August 2026

🕐 1:00pm – 5:00pm

Join us for a unique afternoon of traditional harp music and storytelling as Conni Dawson - The Street Harpist brings Ireland's myths, legends and folklore to life in a setting where history, music and beautiful surroundings come together.

Conni Dawson is a traditional Irish musician and storyteller. Fermanagh born and Clare raised, she has been performing in Ireland for over a decade and travels the length and breadth of the island playing music and telling stories.

This year Conni will be canoeing the length of the river Shannon, from Dowra to Kilrush, telling the story of Sionnan, the goddess from whom the river takes its name.

Down the waters of the Shannon, seanchaí Conni Dawson brings us the tales of two formidable women connected to Ireland’s great waterways. The namesake queen of Enniskillen, Ceithleann of the Crooked Teeth, and the woman for whom our longest river is named, granddaughter of the king of the sea, Síonnan. Embark on a journey to discover how legend is made manifest all around us through story, song and the ancient sound of the harp.

A voluntary collection will be taken after the performance to support the artist and the Storylines Tour.

Come for the view... stay for the feeling.
