U16 Match Report

Well done to our U16 boys who played an absolute cracker in the park earlier today. Played in warm conditions, the lads showed great character to come back from 1–0 down and take a 3–1 lead into half time, thanks to two goals from Man of the Match Jake and a penalty from Greg.

The second half saw our lads push on brilliantly, racing into a 6–2 lead with two more goals from Jake to complete a superb four-goal haul, and a well-earned strike from Alan Casey.

Ballisodare made things interesting with a late surge, turning the final ten minutes into a tense finish, but the lads held firm to see it out.

A special mention to Daniel, who slotted back into defence — great to see him back. A strong performance from Luis, and fantastic to see Alan get his goal after all his hard work.

All the more impressive considering we were missing three regular starters.
