🟧⬛️ ROCKCHAPEL 5K 2026 — RACE REPORT 🟧⬛️
The 4th running of the Rockchapel 5K took place on Friday night, 31st July, with a fantastic atmosphere around the village as runners of all abilities took on the scenic out-and-back course.
A huge thank you to everyone who entered, travelled, supported and helped make the event another great success. The Rockchapel 5K is proudly organised and hosted by Duhallow AC, and it was brilliant to see such strong support from the local community and running clubs from across Cork, Kerry and beyond.
At the front of the race, Jeremiah Sheehan of North Cork AC produced an outstanding performance to win in 15:15 breaking the course record of 16:05 , followed by Tadhg O’Sullivan of Glanmire AC in 15:34. Duhallow AC’s own Maurice Feehan completed a superb run to take 3rd place overall in 16:24.
In the women’s race, Carol Finn of Leevale AC took victory in 18:00, with Lucy O’Sullivan of Millstreet AC second in 18:12 and Bríd Flanagan of West Limerick AC third in 19:02.
