Who would’ve thought our Pigeon Two Ways would steal the spotlight? From curious first bites to empty plates, it quickly became today’s unexpected favourite.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the launch and shared such incredible feedback. Seeing you embrace our bold new dishes is exactly why we love pushing ourselves in the kitchen.

Here’s to a menu that’s a little more adventurous, a little more daring, and full of flavour. We can’t wait to welcome you back.

🔥 Yesterday we had a fire.

⏰ Today, Craig Lee turned up at 6am and single-handedly helped us put Azure Harbour Bistro back together.

By lunchtime, the paint was dry, the doors were open, and business was back as usual. 💪

A huge thank you to Craig for grafting away from dawn and making what seemed impossible happen in just a few hours.

Most importantly, nobody was hurt, and we’re incredibly grateful for all the messages, support and kindness from our wonderful Cobh community. ❤️

To all the dads out there, Happy Father’s Day! 🍻

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’ve got lunches to serve and Father’s Day celebrations to host.

🔥 A Small Fire. A Big Team Effort. And We’re Back Tomorrow. 🔥

Well… today certainly wasn’t part of the plan.

Earlier today, Azure Harbour Bistro experienced a small fire in the front section of the building. Thanks to the incredibly fast response from Cork County Fire Service and the professionalism of everyone involved, the situation was brought under control quickly and safely.

The good news? Nobody was injured, our team is safe, and the damage was contained.

Unfortunately, this meant we had no choice but to cancel tonight’s service despite being fully booked. To all of our guests who had reservations with us this evening, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for the overwhelming understanding, patience and kind messages we have received throughout the day.

Now for the part that might sound unbelievable…

Less than 24 hours later, after a lot of hard work, cleaning, inspections and determination from our team, Azure Harbour Bistro will reopen tomorrow and operate as normal.

Restaurants are funny places. We spend our days solving problems, adapting, overcoming challenges and making sure service goes on. Today was no different.

Some chefs travel the world searching for the finest ingredients.

We took a shorter trip.

Our burrata comes from Macroom, our tomatoes are local, our basil grows close to home, and the rest is simply Mother Nature doing what she has done for centuries.

We don’t fight the seasons.
We don’t overcomplicate things.
We just let great local ingredients shine.

Fresh burrata, blood orange gel, prosciutto, basil pesto and toasted pine nuts — proof that when Cork produces ingredients this good, the chef’s hardest job is knowing when to stop.
