Fabulous piece of history Barge 107B RCAA - Robertstown Community Amenities Association

Barge 107.B was open to the public at the Shannon Harbour Rally at the weekend. We asked people if they had memories, stories or photos of the barge and wow we struck gold. So first up a stamp from Graham Bartlett of 107.B (in front) and behind her “sister” 52.M taken in Robertstown, Co. Kildare. The photo is likely from the late 1970’s but the stamp was issued in 1986. It will be great to recreate this photo when 107.B is mobile again.

How proud are we of this bunch??
These amazing boys have produced KDUL’s strongest performance in recent years, reaching the Quarter-Finals of the main Kennedy Cup competition.
They progressed to the Plate Final and were narrowly beaten by South Belfast 1-0, finishing 6th overall in the competition.
Well done to everyone involved and a special thanks to coaching staff Mal, Chris & John on what I’m sure was a memorable week for the whole squad.
