Autumn has arrived 🍁🍂The perfect season for our tea loaf

26/09/2026

We would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who showed such kindness, love and support to us and our family during the wake and funeral of our beloved mother, Annie.

The past few weeks have been incredibly difficult, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who phoned, sent messages, visited, brought food, offered a helping hand, sent flowers or joined us on Mother’s final journey. Your kindness and support meant so much to us and will always be remembered.

We are truly grateful to each and every one of you for guiding us through such a difficult time and for surrounding our family with so much love and support.

Donna, Ruby, and the tearooms family

It is with deep sadness we bear the loss of our beloved mother this morning

The woman who taught us and many others everything we know , she was an amazing mother to more then just her own children ,many welcomed her including our staff as “mother” or “nanny”.

From working on the till , to folding napkins , to sitting at table one on her seat every day for her lunch and sending us all orders

What a heartbreak this is for all of us and the team we wouldn’t be anywhere without you mother

We will miss seeing you on your cherished chair , there will be a gap that will never be filled in the tearooms and our hearts

Dearly loved and forever missed

Donna , Sharon & Ruby and the staff of Ruby Ellen’s Tea Rooms

May her gentle soul rest in peace 🤍
