This is what community feels like. ❤️
The streets full of people, families together, fireworks lighting up the sky — and Lovage right in the heart of it all.

We are so grateful for the incredible support we felt during the Balloon Festival weekend. Seeing Boyle so alive, busy and full of energy was something really special.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a table, had a coffee, enjoyed our food, said hello or simply stood outside Lovage watching the sky with us.

Five years in Boyle, and nights like this remind us why we love being part of this community.

Reflections of Lovage. 🪞🌿

A mirror doesn’t only show us what is in front of it. Sometimes, it holds the feeling of a place — its light, its history, the river flowing quietly outside and all the moments that have unfolded within.

Lovage has always been more than four walls. It is a place shaped by people, conversations, laughter, food made with care and the stories shared around our tables.

And perhaps that is what makes a place truly special — not only how it looks, but how it makes you feel when you see yourself reflected in it.

Five years later, this sign still means so much. 🌿

It has seen early mornings, late nights, full tables, quiet coffees, friendships, celebrations, difficult days and some truly unforgettable ones.

Lovage has grown, changed and found its place — and somehow, along the way, it became much more than a bistro.
