As summer kicks into high gear, we are expanding our hours to keep you fueled and happy.

Here is our current weekly schedule:

Wednesday: Shop 10am – 5pm | Lunch until 3pm

Thursday: Shop 10am – 5pm | Lunch until 3pm

Friday: Shop opens 10am | Lunch until 3pm | Tapas from 5.30pm 🍷

Saturday: Shop opens 10am | Lunch until 3pm | Tapas from 5.30pm 🍹

Sunday: Shop & Cafe open 10am | Lunch, fresh bakes & cakes until 3pm

Monday & Tuesday: Closed

This weekend’s tapas menu.

Joining the menu for the first time this week:

• duck confit croquettes with zesty orange aioli

• Sherry braised Irish pork shoulder with chickpeas, ajo blanco and pickled shallots

This weekend’s special is seared king scallops with mint & pea purée and chorizo crumb.

Alongside our regular selection of tapas, wines by the glass and desserts.

Friday & Saturday evenings from 5.30pm.

This weekend’s tapas menu.

Joining the menu for the first time this week:

• Skeganhore duck confit croquettes with zesty orange aioli

We were delighted to see Manning’s included in the list of 100 Great Restaurants, Cafés and Places to Eat Around Ireland for Summer 2026.

For a small business in Ballylickey, recognition like this means a great deal. It wouldn’t be possible without the support of our customers and the fantastic local producers whose food, drinks and ingredients fill our shelves, menus and wine racks.

To be included alongside so many businesses we admire from around the country makes the recognition all the more special.

If you haven’t joined us for tapas yet this summer, we’d love to welcome you. Our evening menu brings together West Cork ingredients and Spanish influences, with dishes designed for sharing over a glass of wine.

Tapas is served every Friday and Saturday throughout June, with additional evenings added for July and August.

We were delighted to see Manning’s included in the list of 100 Great Restaurants, Cafés and Places to Eat Around Ireland for Summer 2026.

To be recognised alongside so many fantastic food businesses from around the country is a real honour, and we’re delighted to be in such good company.

Thank you to our customers for your continued support, and to the many local producers whose food, drinks and ingredients fill our shelves, menus and wine racks.

Here is our schedule for the coming week and bank holiday weekend.

The café is open from 10am to 3pm Wednesday through to Monday.

Tapas is Saturday and Sunday evening this week. Saturday evening is fully booked but we still have space on Sunday. DM us to book🍴🍷🍹🌞

Sun due Sunday so we’ve started thinking about BBQ wines again.

A few bottles we’d happily open ourselves — cold whites, easy reds and plenty of rosé.

Back in the fridge this week: Bota Bota Rosado from Irish winemaker Ray O’Connor. Dry, fresh and very hard to leave at one glass.

We’ve also got a lovely natural rosé, ‘Pink’ from Judith Beck — a bit wilder, proper fresh, great with food.

And a new one in — Questo è il Vino Rosso 2024. Low intervention, light and juicy, 1 litre bottle and very BBQ-friendly.

We’ve a few Jerez vermuts in as well — perfect for an afternoon tipple. Serve chilled or over ice with a slice of orange.

And if you’re in Aperol Spritz territory, the Hola Orange Spritz will feel familiar — same bittersweet orange thing going on, just ready to go. Stick it in the fridge and pour.

That’s us sorted for Sunday.

The Café is open Thursday to Monday from 10am and serving grilled sandwiches until 3pm.

Tapas is Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Still a few spots but filling up fast! DM to book your table🍷🍽
