How spectacular is this painting by the extremely talented Bridgit Rose Higgins Culdaff.

Recently I stumbled into the wee oratory, Ballyliffin to find Father Michael Sweeney kneeled at the front of the chapel saying his daily prayers.

I thought what a picture we have here & with his big birthday upon him, what a perfect gift to present him for his kindness, care & generosity he has shown to us all over the years.

So after careful thought, I asked Bridget Rose would she mind attempting this painting & her hillarious responce was damm you kieran duey, you do like to challenge me, sure I'll give it a go, I don't know how am going to paint them fleur tiles.

A few weeks went by and this is what she came back to nancys barn with ( A master piece)

Framed by Dessie kemmy

The perfect oil painting for father Sweeneys big 90th on the 24th September 2026

Written on the picture

"Father Michael Sweeney
The Oratory Ballyliffin 2026"

He loved it & cannot wait to hang it on his wall.

Thank you for everything you do Father Sweeney.

Copy's of this painting are available.

From myself kieran & all the family.
