Our new Jack Fenn brunch menu has landed.

We have kept many of the favourites and added a few fresh plates for the season, including our lentil, potato and avocado salad, crispy confit duck leg salad, new brunch dishes, burgers, ciabattas and homemade bakes from the counter.

It is the kind of food made for slow mornings, lunch with friends, a quick coffee stop, or a cosy afternoon in the courtyard.

Local produce, honest plates, good coffee and a warm welcome.

Open Wednesday to Sunday
Breakfast: 8:30am to 11:30am
Brunch: 12pm to 5pm
Last orders: 4pm

A little note for tomorrow, Sunday 31st May.

Jack Fenn will be closing a little earlier than usual, with brunch last orders at 2pm.

We are open as usual from 8.30am, so join us earlier in the day for coffee, brunch and something sweet.

Back to normal hours from Wednesday, open Wednesday to Sunday, 8.30am to 5pm.

A weekend of craft, conversation and local talent in the castle.

Thank you to Imelda from for bringing together such a lovely Summer Market, and to every artist, maker and small business who filled the courtyard with their work.

There is something very special about seeing local creativity gathered in one place, surrounded by old stone, coffee, music and people taking the time to browse, chat and support.

Thank you to everyone who came along, bought something, shared a kind word, or simply enjoyed the atmosphere!

Summer Begins at

We’re delighted to welcome you back as Jack Fenn Café reopens for the season from Wednesday 6th May, now open Wednesday to Sunday each week.

To celebrate, we have a full weekend planned in the courtyard.

Saturday 9th May
Join us for the Summer Market from 11am to 4pm, with a curated mix of Irish craft, vintage and design from Imelda and .

From 5pm to 7pm, will bring the castle to life with feel good live music, all in support of the Ballina Sensory Park Project.

Sunday 10th May
The market continues from 11am to 4pm for a relaxed day of coffee, browsing and courtyard atmosphere.

Please note, on Wednesday 13th May, Jack Fenn will be open from 8:30am to 5pm.
