This weekend, we’re bringing something a little different to the table at Mani in Pasta Athy & Newbridge.

🦋 Garofalo Farfalle
🌿 Silky spinach velouté
🧀 Creamy smoked scamorza sauce
🥓 And because a sprinkle of Parmesan would be far too predictable… we’re finishing it with crispy dried Speck from Trentino-Alto Adige.

Creamy, smoky, savoury, with that perfect crispy finish.

🦋 A little taste of Italy is coming this weekend…

This weekend, our Special will feature Farfalle by Garofalo 🇮🇹

Farfalle means “butterflies” in Italian, inspired by their distinctive shape. The pinched centre and delicate edges create a lovely contrast in texture making them perfect for bringing a sauce together.

And there’s another reason we chose Garofalo: their pasta is produced in Gragnano, near Naples the city and region where I, Paco, come from. 🇮🇹❤️

Gragnano has a long-standing tradition of pasta making, making this a particularly special choice for us at Mani in Pasta.

But the real question is…

What are we pairing them with? 👀🍝

We’re keeping that part a secret for now.

🚨 FINALLY, WE CAN OFFICIALLY SAY IT… MANI IN PASTA ATHY IS MOVING! 🇮🇹🍕

The secret is out! Our new home is coming soon ON THE SQUARE, ATHY! 🎉

We don’t have an exact opening date just yet. The renovation is going to be a huge and complicated project, but we’re ready for the challenge!

We are incredibly proud and excited to have the opportunity to work in such a beautiful, spacious building, allowing us to do what we love even better and create an even more special experience for our customers.

But this project means more to us than just moving to a bigger restaurant. We are also incredibly happy to give something back to the town of Athy by bringing a long abandoned building back to life. After years of standing empty and affecting the appearance of our town centre, it will soon have a new purpose, new energy and, of course, plenty of Italian food! ❤️

A big thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. We can’t wait to welcome you into our new home.

A new chapter. A bigger dream. The same passion for authentic Italian food.

A huge congratulations to the organisers and everyone involved in Taste of Kildare! 👏🇮🇪

We were truly impressed by the incredible organisation, the amazing atmosphere, and the passion and energy throughout the whole event.

A massive well done to everyone who made this fantastic event happen and brought such a great celebration of food and community to Kildare.

We’ll definitely be seeing you again next year… and we have a feeling Mani in Pasta might be there too! 😉🇮🇹❤️
