Weโ€™re very excited about this one.
Our new bar menu is here โ€” made for cosy evenings, a few pints and really good food without having to book in for dinner.
Thereโ€™s soup & a toastie for something simple, Caesar salad, our 8oz Angus burger with chips, and fresh pasta made in-house.

Most of what we serve comes from right here in West Cork, with the menu changing depending on whatโ€™s seasonal and available. Bar Menu is served from 5pm Thursday and Friday and from 2pm on a Saturday.

A little look back at our recent pop-up at The Mountain House with Nell Mc Carthy

The night was started with an Apagaragus dish with Wild Garlic, Red Lentil Veloutรจ, Puffed Rice and Truffle Cais na Tir Custard.

It was finished with a stunning Rhubarb Financier Tart, Rhubarb Compote, Meadowsweet Custard, Oat Crumble, Gooseberry, Lemon Verbana.

That was the start and finish of the five courses which were served on the night.

The pairing cocktail served to begin was Clonakilty Distillery
Sloe gin paired with
Cherry Soda. The night was finished with KILLAHORA ORCHARDS Pomo, a honey and pineapple cordial and Pineapple Soda.

This exclusive series will consist of a collection of unique events, with each menu carefully curated by one of the finalist chefs in collaboration with and The Mountain House team.
Celebrating local and seasonal produce, every pop-up will centre around its own individual theme โ€” showcasing creativity, collaboration, and the next generation of Irish culinary talent.
