The menu provided by UCHINO SHOKUDO consists of approximately 19 ala carte and 19 set menus, all are authentically crafted by the creative hands that take example after its original recipes. The essential element of UCHINO SHOKUDO’s product lies in the quality of the rice, because the ultimate highlight of every meal by the brand is the rice. UCHINO SHOKUDO ensures that guests enjoy the best quality of rice by polishing its own rice every single day, with imported mechanical tools from Japan to guard its freshness. The best rice is cooked using traditional Japanese cooking utensil namely kamado. A kamado is a traditional Japanese wood or charcoal fueled cook stove; it translates as ‘a place for the cauldron’. Kamado grills are generally fueled by charcoal and used because of its features such as high fire ceramics, refractory materials, double wall insulated steel, traditional terra cotta, and a mix of Portland cement and crushed lava rock, making the rice to be at its best of quality for consumption and enjoyment. The outlet is chic, masculine, modern, and sleek with its minimalist and straightforward design that pays homage to the intricacy of simplicity.
