Honoured to be joining the FT & Nikkei Business of Luxury Summit - Asia Edition this October 🥄 amongst a pretty goated lineup.
I’ll be speaking on the panel “Reclaiming Heritage Through Food” - talking about how food becomes a tool to assert identity, preserve cultural memory, and push back against homogenisation in an industry that so often flattens what it calls “luxury.”
For me this is personal - Spoons has always been about treating Indonesian cuisine with the depth and specificity it deserves, not as a trend but as living, urgent culture. Grateful for the platform to bring that conversation to a room like this.
