🔥 When the forest burns, life is forced to run.

Years of deforestation and forest fragmentation have left wildlife with less habitat, food, and water. Prolonged drought and worsening fire conditions only make the situation more critical.

As flames spread, wildlife is forced to search for safety, often bringing them closer to human settlements and increasing the risk of conflict.

Since July, Conservation Action Network (CAN) has been on the ground, rescuing and relocating wildlife to safer places while working alongside local communities to fight forest and land fires.

But rescue is only an emergency response.

The real solution is protecting what remains, restoring what has been lost, and preventing the next fire.

Because every fire we stop protects more than trees.

It protects life. It protects home. It protects our shared future. 🌿
