With gratitude, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping Ma’ruf’s family after the earthquakes in Flores.

Because of you, 450kg of goods has arrived in Reo and reached families who have lost everything. Because of you, Ma’ruf was able to fly home two weeks ago with 80kg of urgent supplies, tents, medicine, baby goods, blankets and mattresses, and get help to his people fast.

Because of your kindness he was able to hand his own community the things they desperately need and hug his family for the first time in forever.

A couple of weeks ago we put out an urgent call for Ma’ruf’s village, Reo, in Flores. The earthquake devastated his village, and being so remote, no aid was reaching them. Homes destroyed, people injured, families sleeping in tents. And it’s cold.

You guys really showed up!

Because of your donations, we sent 450kg of goods to Reo by boat, it’s on the water now. We also had enough cash donations to fly Ma’ruf to Flores with 80kg of urgent supplies, tents, medicine, baby goods, blankets and mattresses.

He got to see the damage firsthand, hand out supplies to families, and hug his own family for the first time in forever.

None of this happens without you. Thank you for trusting us with your donations and for caring about a village most people have never heard of.
