What is good tea?
Someone who recently started drinking tea may ask the question, "How can I identify if it is good tea or not?" The answer is simple: it depends on who you are. In China, it is a common practice to sell not the best tea to someone who asks for it, but the one that most suits the person's knowledge and needs. If you are a beginner, maybe the cheapest Da Hong Pao will be an amazing experience for you. There is a famous Chinese proverb 喝就知道 (Drink it, and you will know), which basically means that you don’t need anything other than your own ability to taste the tea and understand if you enjoyed it or not.
