Most people read right past this moment. But the Hebrew word Joseph used to report his brothers is Dippah — the exact same word used in Numbers 13 when the 10 spies slandered the promised land.

This wasn't just a bad report. It was defamation.

And Joseph was only 17. Not yet mature enough to handle what God had placed inside him.
