English
Adobo is the national dish of the Philippines. It is a rich, aromatic meat dish that is slowly cooked in the perfect combination of vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and black pepper. During cooking, the meat becomes incredibly tender and juicy, absorbing deep, savory-sour flavors, while the sauce reduces into a thick, fragrant glaze that whets the appetite at the first smell. It is served with rice that perfectly soaks up every drop of this irresistible sauce — simple, comforting, and immensely delicious.
