We deliberately chose not to say goodbye with a picture of food, because this place was always so much more than a restaurant.
It was filled with so much joy, so many beautiful emotions, encounters, and moments of life…
And yes, we ate well, because we truly cooked.
We cooked fresh.
And today, as we close our doors for the season, we simply cannot imagine serving you frozen fish, frozen squid, or anything else that isn’t fresh. That would not be our style.
We served Croatian food and Croatian drinks.
We were ambassadors of our country.
Year after year, we broke our own records.
We received recognitions and awards.
But the greatest recognition of all was you.
The restaurant grew together with you — and, for some of you, so did your children. Some of them first walked through our doors as babies, and this year they are starting school.
The trust you placed in us filled us with indescribable happiness.
We truly believe that no one could have better guests than we do.
We are incredibly proud of what we have built together.
Thank you for being part of it.
We wish you beautiful days ahead and a peaceful winter that will soon arrive.
Spring will bring new joys.
