Authentic Italian products, fresh ingredients and a passionate team in full service.

Our special wood-fired oven plays an important role, but there is much more coming from this kitchen: homemade pasta, fresh seafood and dishes inspired by both Italy and Hvar.

Good food, busy tables with lovely guests and another full evening in our family restaurant. Open for lunch & diner 🥂

Happy 80th birthday to Jakov Primi, the oldest living member of the Primi family on Hvar.

A life shaped by hard work, the land, fishing and more than 40 years in the local grocery store.

But above everything: family.

We are so proud of the man, father and grandfather he is, and grateful for everything he has passed on to the generations after him.

Summer at Primi Piatti starts long before the first table is set.

During the quieter months, our family prepares for the season: growing herbs, turning our own oranges and apples into marmalades, making preserved onions and preparing the flavours that later find their way into our kitchen.

Some products come from our own garden and family kitchen. Others come from local producers we know and trust, from local wines and olive oils to herbs and carefully selected specialties.

Everything is prepared and chosen with the same care, long before it reaches your table ☺️.
